Nasty Storm Moves Through Richmond

It was a busy day in the Storm Center yesterday. A powerful thunderstorm blasted through the Northern Neck and knocked down hundreds of trees and destroyed several homes. Another storm created a waterspout near the Middle Peninsula.

Right when things started to settle, one last storm erupted over the metro Richmond area. It quickly developed some rotation, so I ended up doing continuous coverage. Here is a quick clip:

Luckily the rotation diminished, however, straight-line winds still caused damage in the West End and also parts of Henrico County.
